Find a comfortable position, sitting or lying down. Close your eyes. Take a full in-breath … letting it fill your lungs with air. Hold it for a count that’s comfortable for you … and then, let it slowly out. Repeat, again and again.
Your breath becomes slow and steady. Notice the in-breath. Notice the out-breath. Notice the space in-between. As you notice, notice also that all of the stray, unwanted thoughts are leaving you. Your mind is becoming quiet.
Now set out on your journey.
